01Our commitment

FIN IP Group is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

As an Ontario organization, we also work to meet our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its information and communications standards.

02The standard we build to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines cover making content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for a wide range of users.

03What we have done

• Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, ordered headings, and descriptive page titles.
• A “skip to content” link and full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Text and interface colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on both the light and dark sections of the site.
• Meaningful alternative text on images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields with persistent visible labels, clear required-field marking, and accessible error messaging.
• Respect for the operating system “reduce motion” preference; the site uses no scroll-triggered or automatically playing animation.
• Layouts that reflow to small screens and remain usable at increased browser zoom.

04Known limitations

Some images of award and accreditation logos are supplied by third-party organizations and carry text within the image. We provide alternative text describing the recognition in each case.

We review the site on an ongoing basis and fix issues as we find them. If something is not working for you, we would rather hear about it than not.
